On June 27, Guilin News reported that Beibu Gulf Port (000582.SZ) announced the approval of the "Proposal on the Delay of Investment in Some Raised Funds Projects" at the fourth meeting of the tenth Board of Directors on June 27, 2024. The project for berth 401 at the Fangchenggang Yulang Port area was originally planned to reach the designated available state on June 30, 2024. The project is divided into two parts: Phase 1 dock waterworks and partial rear land construction, and Phase 2 rear land and yard construction. The funds raised for this project have been fully used, and the Phase 1 dock waterworks and rear land construction have been completed and put into operation in November 2021. Currently, the company has completed the land formation and foundation treatment of Phase 2. To meet the needs of automated and digital production operations for bulk cargo handling, the company plans to upgrade the process of the Phase 2 yard to smart and automated technology, in order to achieve intensive, efficient, and automated digital management of the yard. Based on the above situation, the construction schedule of the project has been adjusted, and the company is currently conducting bidding for the Phase 2 rear road yard and process equipment. It is expected that the overall project will reach the designated available state by December 31, 2025.
