On June 27th, Geelong announced that (i) Yang Honghai has submitted his resignation as an executive director from June 27th, 2024 to allocate more time to deal with other work arrangements; and (ii) Wang Yaping has retired as an independent non-executive director since the company's annual shareholder meeting on June 26th, 2024 to allocate more time to deal with other work arrangements.
Furthermore, Dong Fang has been appointed as an executive director and vice chairman, effective from June 27th, 2024.
In addition, the board of directors has further resolved to appoint Liu Yutao, an executive director, as the group's CEO, and to appoint Ni Chucheng, an executive director, as the group's COO, effective from June 27th, 2024. The former CEO, Jiang Hongchang, continues to serve as an executive director and chairman of the board, and the former COO, Liu Yutao, continues to serve as an executive director and has been appointed as the new CEO.
