China Qinfa announced on the news side that it is selling 40% of its equity in Liyuan Development to the independent third party Zhejiang Energy International for a total of RMB 2.95 billion, and the net proceeds are RMB 2.8 billion, of which 64% will be used to repay debts, 2% for dividends, and the remainder for capital expenditures and general operating capital.
After the transaction is completed, the company still holds 60% equity in Liyuan Development. The latter holds a mining operation license for a coal mine located in South Kalimantan Province, Indonesia, through its ownership of 75% of SDE's equity.
