Clare Plastics Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Osaka-shi; President: Masanari Uno) will release “HYDROX” -R using recycled vinyl chloride resin (hereafter, “recycled PVC”) film as a new brand of environmentally friendly tarpaulin (HYDROX) from 2024/7.
We will continue to expand sustainable products and contribute to efforts to realize a recycling-oriented society.
1. Development Background
Interest in environmentally friendly products has increased in recent years, and demand for them is also expanding in the tarpaulin industry. We focused on recycling PVC film materials and developed environmentally friendly brands.
2. Features of HYDROX -R
・Recycled PVC film is made by extracting only PVC from pre-consumer materials such as scraps and non-standard products generated in the PVC composite manufacturing process and then recycling the material. Furthermore, traceability is clear, and SDS (safety data sheets) can be issued.
・Approximately 70% of the tarpaulin weight ratio is recycled PVC film.
*The recycling rate varies slightly depending on product specifications.
・In addition to flameproof formulations, which are the basic properties of tarpaulins, they can also be used with various formulations (antifungal, antibacterial, etc.).
