The "Local Regeneration Talent Support System" is a system in which national civil servants, university researchers, and private sector specialists with enthusiasm and ability are dispatched to municipalities as assistants to mayors. Nishikai City considers that it is necessary to foster an awareness of trying to practice DX with every employee and to support external specialists with professional knowledge in order to achieve this. This led to this dispatch.

Mr. Iwashima's main support includes execution support and management based on the Nishikai City DX Promotion Plan, implementation of various in-house training (talent development) such as promoting awareness and IT literacy of employees, consultation and advice with various departments, adjustment of departmental cross-functional work, execution support for business process reengineering (BPR) and ICT utilization advice, and advisory business according to requests from various departments.
