Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nishi Ward, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, President: Makoto Uchida) will participate in the 13th and 14th races of the Formula E World Championship Season 10, which will be held on June 29th and 30th in Portland, USA. Season 10 has only four races left. In the product structure, the operating income of products with 10-30 billion yuan was 0.401/1.288/0.06 billion yuan respectively.
Due to Oliver Rowland's acquisition of points in both races last month in Shanghai, the Nissan Formula E team is currently ranked third in the team ranking.
At last year's race, the first Formula E race held at the Oregon Circuit, the Nissan Formula E team achieved 2nd and 3rd place on the grid due to excellent qualifying performance, and Sebastien Buemi lined up in the front row at the start of the final race.
Throughout this season, the proton-style race, in which energy management is carried out while running in groups and competing for position in the last spurt before the goal, was born in last year's race at the Oregon Circuit. A similar race style is expected this weekend.
The 3.19-kilometer course is expected to provide plenty of overtaking opportunities at the tight chicane of Turn 1 from the home straight, with overtaking battles continuing on the high-speed section as it gently curves beyond Turn 8, after the difficult technical section from Turn 4.
FP1 will be held on June 28 (Friday), with qualifying scheduled for 9:40 local time and the final race scheduled to start at 14:03 on both June 29 (Saturday) for the 13th race and June 30 (Sunday) for the 14th race.
Tomaso Volpe, general manager of Nissan Formula E and managing director of Nissan Formula E team, expressed his enthusiasm as follows.
"As we approach the end of the season, we are pleased to be in third place in the team ranking and to welcome the U.S. round. We are very proud to be one of the two teams that have scored points in all rounds since the third round. However, we are determined to maintain our ranking and will work hard to do so. Portland is where the protostyle race was born, and similar developments are expected at both events this year, even though the number of laps on Saturday and Sunday will be different. We expect a similar development to Berlin and Shanghai. It is important to finish in the top 10 in all of the remaining four races, not just in Portland, but I believe Oliver Rowland and Sebastien Buemi will achieve this."

"As a team, we've had a very positive season, and we want to continue this good momentum heading into the final event. It's my first time racing in Portland, but I'm confident I can adapt and score as many points as possible. In the proton-style race we've experienced many times this season, it's important to avoid trouble and overtake at the best possible time. I've been enjoying these races since the beginning of the season and I hope to have a strong weekend in Portland as well."

"It was lucky to have a break before the Portland race after months of intense racing and traveling, and it helped us prepare for the rest of the races. It's important to perform at our best in the upcoming races and finish as high as possible in the team rankings. A proton-style race is expected this weekend as well, so it's important to maintain competitiveness until the final lap. Last year in Portland, I was able to secure 2nd place in qualifying and gained confidence. I'm looking forward to this challenge."
