Rakuten Travel, operated by Rakuten Group, has announced its 'Rakuten Travel Hotel Room Review Rankings' based on reviews from guests.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, lodging facilities that offer guests a chance to enjoy their time indoors in their rooms have become increasingly popular. Such lodging types continue to be popular as one of the luxuries of travel, as they allow you to spend time as you wish in a comfortable space not limited by weather or temperature. In response to such trends, Rakuten Travel has focused on evaluating guest room satisfaction for travelers who have longer stays. As a result of calculating the scores (out of 5) for room reviews posted during the one-year aggregate period for all city hotels and leisure hotels registered with Rakuten Travel, the top-ranked establishment is The Kahala Hotel & Resort Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture.

First-ranked "The Kahala Hotel & Resort Yokohama" is a sister hotel to the luxury resort "The Kahala Hotel & Resort" in Hawaii. The rooms have an interior design that combines 'crystal modern' with an otherworldly atmosphere that allows you to immerse yourself in luxury. One of the attractions is that the bedrooms and bathrooms have a great view of the city of Minato Mirai, including the Yokohama Bay Bridge, high-rise buildings, and Ferris wheel. Amenities and equipment provided include bathrobes made of jacquard fabric, pillowcases made of luxury cotton, and famous brand tea, etc... Everything is luxurious and you can enjoy your stay comfortably.
