According to the Futu Finance APP, Goldwind Science & Technology (02208) announced that on June 25, 2024, the 23rd meeting of the eighth Board of Directors of the company approved the proposal regarding providing full guarantee and issuing a letter of guarantee on behalf of its holding subsidiary in South Africa. They agreed that Goldwind Science & Technology, its wholly-owned subsidiary, Goldwind International Holdings (Hong Kong) Co. Ltd. (Goldwind International), or Goldwind Science & Technology and Goldwind International jointly provide full guarantee for the holding subsidiary established in South Africa, and Goldwind Science & Technology or Goldwind International act on its behalf to apply for a full letter of guarantee from the bank. The guarantee amount does not exceed RMB 8 billion yuan, and the letter of guarantee amount does not exceed RMB 3 billion yuan (the total guarantee liability limit for guarantee and letter of guarantee is still RMB 8 billion yuan), which will be effective within one year from the date of resolution of the company's second extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in 2024.
