TVB (00511.HK) announced a new framework cooperation with Tencent Video (00700.HK), which is a comprehensive cooperation in the field of film and television dramas after the two parties signed a strategic cooperation agreement last year. According to the agreement, the two sides will deepen cooperation through resource integration and complementary advantages to create a more diversified content ecology and achieve a wider market influence, including increasing the number of customized dramas from 4 to 8, with the first 4 dramas "Big White Duel", "The Entrepreneurial Age", "Wonder Women" and "Forensic Heroes" expected to be simultaneously broadcasted in Mainland China and Hong Kong this year, and the newly added 4 dramas such as "Wars of In-Laws" and "Barrack O'Karma" will be filmed one after another this year and expected to be broadcasted next year. Tencent Video officially launched the "HK Drama Project", and TVB will provide more than 2,000 episodes of classic TVB dramas to Tencent Video, and more HK dramas are expected to be broadcasted on the platform of "HK Drama Project" in the future, which will further promote the development of Hong Kong-produced TV dramas. Wang Juan, vice president of Tencent Online Video, stated that TVB's drama resources will further enrich Tencent Video's content categories and meet the viewing needs of Cantonese-speaking audiences.
