According to a report from China News Service, Goldman Sachs research report mentioned that China is currently one of the highest online retail markets in terms of penetration rate. It is expected that China's online retail penetration rate will increase by 120 percentage points this year, and e-commerce sales will increase by 8% to $1.7 trillion.

Goldman Sachs said that global e-commerce sales reached $3.6 trillion last year, and is expected to rise 8% to $3.9 trillion this year. From 2023 to 2028, the compound annual growth rate of global e-commerce sales is 7%, and it will reach $5 trillion by 2028.

The report also mentioned that China and the United States are the world's largest e-commerce markets, and are expected to drive two-thirds of the overall growth of the global e-commerce market by the end of 2028.
