Baidu's self-driving travel service, Carrot Run, announced that the public security agency recently cracked a network navy case, capturing more than 10 suspects involving more than 10 multi-channel broadcast network (MCN) institutions in multiple provinces and cities. They are suspected of manipulating hundreds of accounts to post derogatory comments about Carrot Run online. Currently, five main suspects have been criminally detained, and the case is still under further investigation.

Carrot Run emphasizes that it will continue to work hard to provide safe, comfortable, green and low-carbon travel services for its users in the future.

Last month, there were online rumors that unmanned online car-hailing cars appeared on the road, causing traffic congestion due to stopping before green lights and rushing into the center of the road during red lights. It was summoned by the Wuhan authorities, and the group subsequently clarified that the relevant remarks were false and malicious complaints. After investigation and evidence collection, it was confirmed that they were seriously inconsistent with the facts and have already reported to the public security agency and initiated an investigation.
