TOTO, DAIKEN, and YKK AP (hereafter, TDY) are jointly “TDY Remodeling”^(※)The “Smile Film Contest 2024” will be held, and the call for entries will begin on 7/1.
This work contest targets design offices, construction shops, remodeling stores, etc. all over the country to solicit stories that realized the lifestyle and comfortable lifestyle desired by customers through remodeling and led to a “smile” as example works, and this is the 40th time as an activity to promote revitalization of remodeling demand.
TDY proposes a remodel that is close to the lifestyle that each person envisions and makes dreams come true, and since there are 10 people, there are 10 ways to live, so the concept theme of “ten people, ten families” is set. The winning works in the thematic category of this work contest will be published sequentially on the web content “Minna no Tenjin Jukan” as examples of realistic customer remodels, and we will introduce to everyone the longed-for lifestyle of “Ten People Ten Families” realized through professional proposals.
The judging results of the contest are scheduled to be announced in December, and 78 points of the “National Grand Prize - Ten People, Ten Family Remodels”, the Grand Prize, the Excellence Award, the Jury Encouragement Award, and the “TDY Product Space Proposal Award” will be selected for each category.

＜Remodeling Points＞
My parents' house was remodeled into a two-family house. The dark LDK was moved southwest to make it a bright and spacious space. Also, by grating the floor on the 2nd floor above the dining room, light was taken into the first floor. The mother's room, which is adjacent to the LDK, ensures lighting through interior windows. It is a flow line that allows you to move smoothly from the kitchen to the mother's room and washroom.

・Properties where residents have been identified as remodeled properties of houses designed or constructed by the applicant
・Properties where remodeling work was completed on or after 2023/11/1, and the main product is TOTO, DAIKEN, or YKK AP
・Properties that comply with various provisions of related laws and regulations such as the Building Standards Act

② Proposal ability: Space proposals and appropriate construction methods with new ideas and ingenuity are taken in response to client requests

③ Expressiveness: The above ①② is expressed with an appropriate amount of text, drawings, illustrations, images, etc. on the remodel submission sheet
