According to statistics from BOCOM Int'l, as of May 31st, New Oriental's teaching sites increased more than 80 compared to the previous month, with a growth rate of 10%, in line with previous expectations. The bank forecasts that New Oriental's fourth quarter revenue for the fiscal year 2024, ending in May, will increase by 31% year-on-year to USD 1.128 billion, and offline teaching sites may accelerate expansion in the fourth quarter, with a growth rate of 10%, impacting the gross margin of the group by a 0.4% year-on-year decrease. However, the bank believes that this is mainly for the layout of the summer enrollment in July-August, which will be bullish for the enrollment in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2025 (ending in May).

Huaxi Securities' recent research report pointed out that the policy has relatively bottomed out, which is one of the more certain investment directions. The profit improvement brought by the clearance of supply is expected to continue, and the growth rate of summer enrollment is maintaining a rapid growth. Galaxy Securities also stated that the industrial trend of policy optimization and supply-demand resonance is determined, and the leading stocks of regulatory compliance have successfully completed business transformation, and are returning to the expansion trend with their brand and teaching research advantages, with a potential acceleration in performance.
