In order to clearly convey to consumers that aluminum cups can also be recycled, the Aluminum Can Recycling Association has established the “Aluminum Cup Recycling Mark” as an industry-standard mark.
In our group, we are promoting the display of the Aluminum Cup Recycling Mark for our drink-use aluminum cup “Lumisus”, which was developed and put into practical use using our unique technology that employs horizontal recycling aluminum material as an environmentally conscious one-way container.Lumisus is an aluminum cup for beverages that replaces plastic cups, which was developed and put into practical use using our own technology that employs environmentally friendly aluminum that can be recycled horizontally as a material. In terms of the environment, we have achieved zero water usage during production and minimized energy consumption by using the technology of Toyo Seikan Co., Ltd.'s beverage aluminum can, “aTULC (aluminum Toyo Ultimate Can)”. In terms of user-friendliness, we have realized optimal curl optimization for good mouthfeel and prevention of cuts, easier detachment from the stacking state, indication of filling volume by insertion line, good grip, hygiene, and optimal loading efficiency through our own molding technology.It is used at sports venues, events, and some commercial facilities, and can also be purchased from our group's SUNTORY SUNTORY CORPORATION website.
