A special lecture was held at Nagoya University.

We would like to inform you regarding the special lecture titled "Semiconductors and the Future of Packaging Technology" conducted by Hiroji Kawashima, President of Ibiden Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture) at the first anniversary ceremony of the establishment of the Tokai National Higher Education and Research System Low Temperature Plasma Comprehensive Science Research Center held on Friday, June 21 at Nagoya University.

More than 200 people attended the ceremony, including graduate students and researchers from Nagoya University and Gifu University, which comprise the Tokai National Higher Education and Research Organization. During the lecture, President Kawashima introduced our company's business and history, explained the role and evolution of packaging substrates technology, and emphasized the importance of industry-academic cooperation and delivered a message to the students who will be future leaders. Many questions were asked by students and researchers who were interested in the content of the lecture during the Q&A session, and the event ended with a big round of applause from the audience.

We will continue to strengthen our cooperation and relationships with academic institutions such as the Tokai National Higher Education and Research System to contribute to the development of a sustainable society, as well as develop human resources that will support future industries.
