Our company submitted a correction letter to the Nuclear Regulation Authority today, reflecting the review content of the application for a change in reactor installation related to the introduction of high-burnup fuel into the No. 4 unit of the Genkai nuclear power plant, which was submitted to the authority on December 28, 2022. We also performed the same correction procedure today for the prior consultation requests submitted to Saga Prefecture and Genkai Town.
In addition, we have also completed similar correction procedures today for the prior consultation requests that were submitted to Saga Prefecture and Genkai Town.
Main correction contents
- Improvement of description (enrichment of analytic conditions and results etc.)
At present, the introduction of high-burnup fuel is scheduled for fiscal 2026.
