Ajinomoto Co., Ltd. (President: Taro Fujie, Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter “Ajinomoto Co., Ltd.”) and Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. (President: Mitsuko Tottori, Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter “JAL”) will support the Paris 2024 Olympics (hereafter “Paris 2024”) Japanese team “TEAM JAPAN” as a special menu for a limited time in flight and lounges“TEAM JAPAN PARIS 2024 SUPPORT MENU” will be offered.
Ajinomoto Co., Ltd. has been an official partner of the Japan Olympic Committee (Chairman: Yasuhiro Yamashita, hereafter “JOC”) since 2003, and has supported TEAM JAPAN's strengthening support project “Victory Project””^※1Nutritional support activities have been carried out by Furthermore, as an official supporter of TEAM JAPAN, JAL has been actively working to spread various sports and support athletes in Japan so that it can contribute to creating a rich society through the value of sports, and is responsible for safe and secure transportation of TEAM JAPAN in Paris 2024.

This menu is an in-flight meal arranged by Ajinomoto Co., Ltd. for in-flight meals to Abe Hifumi (male 66 kg class), Abe Uta (female 52 kg class), and Takaichi Mirai (female 63 kg class), who have been hired by Ajinomoto Co., Ltd. to represent Japan in the Paris 2024 Olympics judo team. Pork, which contains a lot of vitamin B1, is used to grill tender pork with ginger, and the seasoning is light yet delicious, making it a dish suitable for nutritional supplementation regardless of appetite. On flights departing from Haneda to Paris, they also serve “dashi soup” using “hondashi” from Ajinomoto Co., Ltd.

This soup is made by French chef Ryuji Teshima, who oversees first business class in-flight meals on JAL international flights departing from Paris^※2Is “Victory ProjectIt was developed with Ajinomoto Co., Ltd. as part of”, and is a “G-Road Station” for TEAM JAPAN^※3The menu offered is arranged for lounges.
