The following is a comment written by a FISCO social reporter for individual investors, Mr. Yuusuke Yuge (Blog: Profitable Stock Information" Nekodanna's Stock Never Ceilings "). At FISCO, we strive to work with individuals who are actively disseminating information to deliver a diverse range of information to investors.

Even if the FOMC and the Bank of Japan's monetary policy meetings pass without any surprises, the US economy and European political risks are seething, leading to heavy resistance on the upside, but a firm development. Will semiconductor-related stocks, which have led the stock market, take a break and look for other themes?

I am Yugi Yuge, who writes a stock and cat blog called 'Profitable Stock Information "Nekodanna's Stock Never Ceilings"'.

When considering what will happen to the Japanese stock market in the future, it cannot avoid the impact of the US economy. To be honest, the recent US economy cannot be said to be either good or bad, given the US employment statistics.

With inflation remaining high, the number of new employees in the non-agricultural sector exceeded market expectations. On the other hand, the unemployment rate has also increased slightly, so it is a situation where caution is required. At this FOMC, Chairman Powell has suggested that he may implement one rate cut later this year. It seems that he judged that it was not a situation where the policy should be changed immediately.

Regarding Japan, BOJ Governor Ueda announced a policy of reducing purchases of government bonds. The current Japanese economy cannot be said to have improved despite being in a state of inflation. Why BOJ Governor Ueda is pursuing this policy, which leads to interest rate hikes, is a concern. Anyway, for ordinary citizens like me, it is a day when we have to silently observe the unclearness of the Japanese economy.

Now, it is a great opportunity to find stocks that are building an upward trend without losing to external environments. Although the overall market has heavy resistance to the upside, the flow of individual stock searches continues. If there are many concerns in the external environment, funds may be attracted to stocks that have solid earnings expectations. This time, I picked up such stocks.

According to the media, weakening of the yen is said to be the incarnation of evil, but I have consistently said that a weaker yen is a plus for the Japanese economy as a whole. Fukoku <5185>, which handles industrial rubber products, is a company that benefits from a weaker yen, with overseas sales accounting for over half of the total. The (daily) chart is in a bright upward trend, updating the year-to-date high.

This is also Mimaki Engineering <6638>, which benefits from a weaker yen. The company produces large printers for advertising and signage and its (daily) chart is also in an upward trend. The stock price has risen by nearly twice in about two months, so it is worth watching how it will develop in the future.

Even with an upward trend, Nissha <7915> with a PBR of less than 1 has expanded its performance beyond expectations in the industrial materials and device businesses. It is forming a strong (daily) chart with the 25-day moving average as the downside.

Advantage Risk Management <8769>, which specializes in mentality management, has recently cut up its downside as a small and growing stock. The share buyback is also well received, and the performance is also solid. With major companies adopting the company's stress check service, demand for the company may expand along with the promotion of work style reforms.

Maru-Uni <9067>, which has expectations as hydrogen chains delivering hydrogen to power plants, is steadily expanding its performance. If there is a report on hydrogen-related matters from the government, speculative buying is likely to flow into the company. It is worth watching how low the (daily) chart can cut up.

Finally, Nihon Bisoetsu Co., Ltd. <1982>, a leading air-conditioning construction company, has expectations for data center air conditioning. Its (daily) chart is forming an upward trend with the 25-day moving average as the downside. It actively repurchases its own shares and is being picked up from the perspective of shareholder returns as well.

Well, the story has become a bit long, but on my blog, I introduce "individual stocks and theme stocks that are currently strong". Please take a look if you have time. We look forward to welcoming you with our beloved cat, "Al".
