Notice of sponsorship and withdrawal from exhibition

We deeply apologize for causing great concern and inconvenience to our customers and business partners regarding the red mold related products manufactured and sold by Kobayashi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, President: Akihiro Kobayashi; hereinafter referred to as “our company”). We offer our sincere prayers for those who have passed away and our heartfelt condolences to their families. For customers currently undergoing treatment, we pray for a speedy recovery. Currently, our company is making every effort to recover and identify the cause of our red mold related products while prioritizing the safety of our customers and continuing to do so in the future. We take this matter seriously and will strive to restore trust.

Up until now, we have been preparing for sponsorship and exhibition at the Japan Healthcare Pavilion at the Japan International Expo in 2025 (Osaka/Kansai Expo). However, in light of the aforementioned situation, we have decided to decline sponsorship and participation in the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion.

We will continue to fully cooperate with investigations by various related parties such as the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and the fact-finding committee, and make every effort to restore trust from everyone.
