NTT Data Group, Inc.
Three employees belonging to NTT DATA Group and NTT DATA Co., Ltd. were selected as "2024 AWS Ambassadors" in the AWS Partner Network (APN), a partner program provided globally by Amazon Web Services (AWS). "AWS Ambassador" is a program recognized for its excellent technical expertise in AWS and rigorous scrutiny. The three selected employees will disseminate information on AWS technology and cloud knowledge both internally and externally as AWS experts in the future.
In addition to "2024 AWS Ambassadors," numerous employees belonging to NTT DATA Group, NTT DATA Co., Ltd., and domestic group companies (hereinafter referred to as the NTT DATA Group) were selected as winners for "2024 Japan AWS Top Engineers," "2024 Japan AWS Jr. Champions," and "2024 Japan AWS All Certifications Engineers," Japan's own programs. The number of NTT DATA Group's award winners for the 2024 fiscal year has increased significantly from the previous year, ranking among the top in the country. In the future, the NTT DATA Group will continue to collaborate with AWS in a wide range of fields and provide highly advanced services to customers using AWS services through the cultivation of outstanding personnel knowledgeable in AWS.
The number of award winners in the NTT DATA Group for the 2024 fiscal year has significantly increased compared to the previous year, ranking among the top in the country.
In the future, the NTT DATA Group will continue to collaborate with AWS in a wide range of fields and provide highly advanced services to customers using AWS services through the cultivation of outstanding personnel knowledgeable in AWS.

About AWS-related initiatives
NTT DATA has made two major efforts regarding AWS to promote its customers' business.
1. Provide customers with system construction and operation management as an "AWS Premier Service Partner"
Since joining APN in 2012, we have provided customers with system construction and operation management of enterprise systems that require diverse configurations, high reliability, and high security on AWS. In 2017, we were certified as an "AWS Premier Service Partner," which has a track record of achieving a certain level of performance in business using AWS and has many certified technical consultants among APN partners.
2. Strategic collaboration with AWS
From January 1, 2022, we have been conducting a strategic collaboration with AWS for promoting digital business utilizing cloud in Japan. By strengthening the DX promotion structure, developing new services using AWS, and promoting human resources development and research and development, we will accelerate our customers' digital transformation (DX).

Future Prospects
NTT Data Group will expand its technical information globally, including its domestic and overseas group companies, through collaboration in a wide range of fields based on strategic cooperation with AWS. By developing higher-level personnel such as certified professionals and cloud-native application development engineers who are familiar with AWS cloud, we will increase the number of personnel in the NTT Data Group in Japan to 7,300 by the end of the fiscal year 2024 and contribute to our customers' DX.
Significance of selecting AWS Ambassadors and Japan AWS Top Engineers
The selection of AWS Ambassadors and Japan AWS Top Engineers is based on evaluation axes such as information dissemination outside the company, technical leadership in large-scale projects, development achievements of solutions/products, contribution to the acquisition of APN certification programs, and the number of AWS certification acquisitions. The selected personnel are highly knowledgeable and skilled in AWS with a track record of executing activities related to these evaluation axes at a high level.

About the Cloud Architect Community
NTT Data Group is developing top technical professionals who are proficient in cloud services such as AWS and has formed an elite internal community called the Cloud Architect Community (CAC). Many of the AWS Ambassadors and Japan AWS Top Engineers certified by NTT Data Group belong to the CAC and are conducting knowledge dissemination and personnel development activities both inside and outside the company.
