On June 21, 2024, eft solutions (08062.HK) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Golden Trophy Limited, entered into an agreement with Bonum LLC, wherein the buyer conditionally agreed to acquire and the seller conditionally agreed to sell approximately 16.7% of Bonum LLC's shareholding for a consideration of USD 1 million.

The target company is a registered limited liability company in Mongolia and mainly engaged in providing payment services in Mongolia. Since its establishment in 2015, the target company has been focusing on providing payment services, especially in the field of issuing payment cards and recruiting merchants to use electronic payment terminals for payment transactions. Its customers include retail stores, restaurants, cafes, pharmacies, and hospitals.

The company has always been actively seeking opportunities to invest in businesses or projects with potential prospects and complementary businesses or new regional markets, in order to create maximum returns for the company and shareholders. The directors believe that the acquisition could provide an opportunity for the group to enter the payment market in Mongolia.
