Company Overview

2. History

In 1952, Yamabuki Keiki (now Azbil) signed a capital partnership contract with Honeywell, a leading control equipment manufacturer in the USA, and started importing and selling air conditioning control equipment in Japan. However, since there were almost no instrument installation companies in the world at the time, Mr. Shichiro Shimada and other founding members were convinced of the development of air conditioning instrumentation business and established Nippon Denshi (Code: 1723) with the ambition of aiming to be Japan's leader in electrical technology, and named it Nippon Denshi Co., Ltd. In this way, the company started as Japan's first air conditioning instrumentation specialist company that designs, constructs, adjusts, and maintains air conditioning automatic control in 1959. Currently, the company is expanding its business by leading the air conditioning instrumentation industry in collaboration with Azbil, and by applying its engineering capabilities in the field of industrial systems that promote factory and production line automation and labor saving.
