「あばれ祭」は石川県鳳珠郡能登町宇出津地区で行われる350年以上の歴史を持つ伝統的なお祭りであり、能登町宇出津の方々にとって神様への感謝と祈り、そして先祖の霊を慰めるなど四季の暮らしの中での大切な祭事です。2024年1月1日に発生した能登半島地震により、開催が危ぶまれていた「あばれ祭」ですが、無事に今年も開催が決まりました。能登空港に就航している航空会社として歴史ある伝統文化の継続に貢献するべく、今回の取り組みに至りました。

- -ANA will support the traditional festival 'Abaresai' with a history of over 350 years that was in danger of cancellation this year due to the impact of the Noto Peninsula earthquake, together with high school students in Noto-cho, Ishikawa Prefecture.
- -The Noto High School Calligraphy Club will release a calligraphy work produced as a writing of gratitude and prayer containing their feelings for the 'Abaresai' as an NFT.
All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Shinichiro Ito, hereinafter referred to as 'ANA') will sell NFT (Non-Fungible Token)※1 to support the 'Abaresai' held in Noto-cho, Houshu-gun, Ishikawa Prefecture from July 5th to 6th, 2024.

The 'Abaresai' is a traditional festival with a history of over 350 years held in the Utsuzu area of Noto-cho, Houshu-gun, Ishikawa Prefecture, and is an important festival in the four seasons of life that expresses gratitude and prayer to the gods, and consoles the spirits of ancestors for the people of Noto-cho Utsuzu. Although the 'Abaresai' was in danger of cancellation due to the Noto Peninsula earthquake that occurred on January 1, 2024, it was decided to hold the event safely this year. As an airline flying to Noto Airport, we have embarked on this initiative to contribute to the continuation of traditional culture with a long history.
The Noto High School Calligraphy Club began a calligraphy performance 12 years ago in 2012, where they wrote calligraphy dynamically on a large sheet of paper with music and dance, and this year, they will participate in the long-awaited 'Calligraphy Performance Koshien' for the first time in the rebuilding support category after the Noto Peninsula earthquake. The calligraphy works to be released this time are expressions of gratitude and prayer for the 'Abaresai' created by six club members as a ritual of the Utsuze Yasaka Shrine, with the characters for 'reconstruction', 'hope', and 'prayer'.
