According to an internal report, Geely Auto CEO Shufu Li mentioned in a recent internal meeting that Geely will release its self-developed and self-produced new generation of "blade" lithium iron phosphate batteries, called "Shield Short Sword Battery", on June 27. This battery will be first installed on the Geely Galaxy E5 model.

The new battery will achieve technological breakthroughs in terms of safety, cycle life, fast charging capability, and low-temperature discharge performance. (ta/u)
