On June 21, Glonui reported that a judge of the Brazilian Supreme Court decided to end the investigation of Google and Telegram, both owned by Alphabet, which were accused of promoting a movement against the law aimed at fighting false information on the Internet. The law is still awaiting passage and will require search engines and social information services of internet companies to discover and report illegal materials. If not, they will be fined heavily. In the ruling, Judge Alexandre de Moraes agreed with the Brazilian Deputy Prosecutor's opinion that there was no reason to prosecute these two technology companies. Last year, Moraes ordered investigations into the executives of these tech companies.
