Carrianna (00126.HK) announced that the group expects to record a loss of no more than 280 million Hong Kong dollars for the year ending March 31, 2024, with a loss of approximately 170 million Hong Kong dollars relative to the previous year.
The main reason for the increase in the group's loss relative to the previous year is: (i) the operating loss of the food business due to the decrease in mooncake sales; (ii) the impairment of goodwill and right-to-use assets due to the contraction of the "Cha Chaan Teng" business scale; and (iii) the increase in financial costs due to the rise in bank borrowing rates.
