Somerley Cap (08439.HK) announced that the total revenue of the group increased by about 10.5% to about HKD 67.4 million for the year ended March 31, 2024, from about HKD 61 million for the year ended March 31, 2023. The group recorded a pretax loss of about HKD 3.6 million (about HKD 6.9 million in 2023). It is recommended to pay a final dividend of HKD 0.025 per share for this year (HKD 0.025 per share in 2023).

The decrease in losses from last year was offset by an increase in income from the enterprise financing consulting business of about HKD 6.4 million, an increase in bank interest income of about HKD 1.1 million, a decrease in exchange losses of about HKD 0.6 million, and a net increase in employee welfare costs of about HKD 3.4 million and an increase in impairment losses arising from the recognition of trade receivables generated from enterprise financing consulting business of about HKD 1.4 million.
