On June 20th, Gelonghui reported that HSBC Bank announced on Thursday that it has appointed Danielle Johnson, a senior employee of Goldman Sachs, as global head of the Bank and Market Business Institution Client Department, effective June 3rd. Johnson worked at Goldman Sachs for more than 20 years, serving as a senior client executive responsible for asset management companies, banks, and hedge funds. She was also co-director of US stock sales at the investment bank. In her new position, she will be responsible for strengthening coverage of institutional clients, with a focus on Western headquarters clients doing business globally. She will be based in New York and report to HSBC's joint global banking business directors Lisa McGeough and Gerry Keefe.
