Uba Investments (00768) released its annual performance for the year ended March 31, 2024. The group generated revenue of HKD 5.01 million during the period, an increase of 9.29% year-on-year. Shareholders' attributable losses were HKD 7.409 million, a decrease of 48.67% year-on-year. Basic loss per share was 0.58 Hong Kong cents.

According to the announcement, the total amount of proceeds from the sale of transaction securities was reduced by 86% from approximately HKD 20.9 million in the same period last year to approximately HKD 2.9 million. This was mainly due to the group's decreased investment willingness in trading listed securities caused by the uncertain economic environment due to the impact of US interest rate hikes.
