Wanguo Mining (03939.HK) announced that the board of directors recommends changing the company's English name from Wanguo International Mining Group Limited to Wanguo Gold Group Limited, and adopting the Chinese name "Wanguo Gold Group Co., Ltd." as the dual foreign name of the company to replace the existing Chinese name, "Wanguo International Mining Group Co., Ltd."

The proposal to change the company name must be approved by the shareholders at a special meeting, and can only be implemented after approval of the special resolution to change the company name and approval of the Registrar of Companies in the Cayman Islands to change the company name.
