Rakuten PLAY is a free service that provides information on a wide range of video content. Users can encounter various genres of content such as movies, dramas, and anime through functions such as unique "Comprehensive content ranking" across video streaming services based on survey, and an article creation function that recommends content that they have watched to other users. In addition, by subscribing to each paid video streaming service via this service, you can earn Rakuten Points.
Numerous video streaming services are provided in Japan, and common contents are distributed simultaneously on multiple services. In addition, each company has its own original content and exclusive distribution content, making it difficult for users to understand which content is distributed on which service. To solve this complicated situation and make it easier for users to encounter content, Rakuten has started providing this service.
