Vitasoy Int'l (00345.HK) announced its full-year performance as of the end of March this year, with a net profit of 116 million yuan, up 154.5% per year; earnings per share of 10.9 cents. The final dividend is 6.3 cents, up from 1.4 cents in the same period last year. Together with the interim dividend of 1.4 cents per share, the total dividend per share for the year is 7.7 cents, compared with a total dividend of 2.7 cents per share in the previous fiscal year.

The annual income, calculated in Hong Kong dollars, was HKD 6.217 billion, a decrease of 1.9% year-on-year. The group explained that this was mainly due to the depreciation of the renminbi and the Australian dollar. Excluding the impact of exchange rates, the annual income increased by about 1% year-on-year. Among them, the revenue in the first half of the fiscal year fell by 3%, but the performance of the business in Mainland China, with an income growth of 10% in local currency, and the steady performance of the business in Hong Kong, made up for the revenue decline in the first half of the fiscal year.

The annual gross margin increased by 2.5 percentage points to 50%. EBITDA increased by 10% to 685 million yuan. Excluding the impact of exchange rates and government subsidies related to the COVID-19 pandemic, EBITDA increased by 27% during the year.
