According to the monthly survey of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) in the USA, the NAHB/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index, which reflects builder confidence, fell to 43 points in June, a decrease of 2 points from the previous month and the lowest since December 2023, also lower than the market expected 45 points.
The current sales conditions index dropped 3 points to 48 points; the index measuring future sales expectations in the next six months fell 4 points to 47 points; and the index measuring prospective buyer traffic dropped 2 points to 28 points.
