■SDGs and ESG management initiatives

1) Environment

Since Chubu Kohan ＜5461＞ is developing business activities centered on steel production through “resource recycling,” we believe that supplying environmentally friendly, high-quality products is the area where it can most contribute to solving global environmental issues, and it is a social mission.

2) Society

As cooperation and support activities, in addition to providing extensive cooperation and support to society, such as welfare, disaster prevention, disaster relief, and blood donation activities, etc., they are also actively working on activities rooted in local communities, such as factory tours and work experiences for elementary and junior high school students as community contribution activities, and cleaning/greening activities around the company. As an initiative for employees, we have established a comfortable work environment and a system where employees can fully demonstrate their abilities, and we have formulated action plans that allow both men and women to balance work, family life, and child-rearing.

3) Governance

It defines the basic way of thinking about corporate governance. We will endeavor to enhance corporate governance based on basic policies in order to fulfill our responsibilities to shareholders and other stakeholders and promote fair, highly transparent management that is trusted by society.

4) Integrated Report

The company will issue an “integrated report (CHUBU KOHAN REPORT)” from 2022 to communicate efforts aimed at sustainable corporate value improvement to stakeholders.
