The Moganbu is the main force behind the seagrass restoration project, which was launched by local stakeholders, including Minami-cho, which is also known as a town visited by loggerhead sea turtles to lay eggs, to address the problem of Ishiyake (loss of seagrass beds) in Tokushima Prefecture's Minami-cho. Through initiatives based on seagrass restoration, such as "Development of Local Products Using Aigo, One of the Causes of Ishiyake" and "Development of Seagrass and Fishing Ground Restoration Materials," the Moganbu aims to build a sustainable model that contributes to regional development and the future of the earth.

Sustainable model for seagrass restoration

As a company that operates mainly in marine shipping, we aim to strengthen our efforts to reduce environmental impact in the ocean, which is deeply related to our business, and contribute to environmental measures such as biodiversity conservation and climate change through our support for the Moganbu's initiative. In addition to the donation through the corporate version of the Furusato Tax Payment program this time, we plan to further promote our efforts, such as participation by our employees in volunteer activities for seagrass restoration in the future.
