According to insiders, artificial intelligence leader NVIDIA has recently agreed to acquire American software startup Shoreline.
Shoreline, based in California, USA, is a startup company for software developers. Its founder and CEO, Anurag Gupta, was a former vice president of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Shoreline, founded in 2019, has developed software that can identify and help automatically fix problems and incidents in computer systems. According to data provider PitchBook, Shoreline has raised about $57 million and has been supported by investors including Dawn Capital, Insight Partners, and Canvas Ventures.
Insiders said that the deal was recently reached and the valuation of Shoreline was about $100 million in this transaction.
NVIDIA's "Road to Becoming King"
In recent years, NVIDIA has gradually become the core of creating and operating computer systems required for artificial intelligence software.
Through cooperation and acquisition, NVIDIA has been adding new features, including software, networks, pre-trained AI models, and other technologies. However, not all of its acquisitions of startups are disclosed to the public.
