Introducing the "Mirai Speaker" at 8 major domestic airports to reduce stress for people with hearing impairment and older customers, etc.

- Reducing the stress of those with hearing impairment or elderly individuals -

  • - From June 6, 2024, ANA has installed the "Mirai Speaker", which supports your hearing and makes communication with staff smoother, in 8 major domestic airports (domestic area).
  • - The "Mirai Speaker" is a speaker that improves hearing difficulty without increasing volume. Words become easier to hear without raising the volume.
  • - Customers with hearing impairments, elderly customers, and those who have difficulty hearing are less stressed.
  • - We will consider expanding to international airport areas and strive to enhance our universal services.

From June 6, 2024, ANA introduced the "Mirai Speaker" (manufactured and sold by Soundfan Co., Ltd., Chuo-ku, Tokyo), which supports smooth communication with airport staff, in 8 major domestic airports (Haneda, Narita, New Chitose, Chubu, Osaka International, Kansai, Fukuoka and Naha). Our goal is to improve the convenience of customers who find it difficult to hear (those with hearing impairments, elderly customers, etc.) by installing a total of 10 speakers at the SPECIAL ASSISTANCE counters (domestic area) at each airport.

- The "Mirai Speaker" converts voice and amplifies clear sound over a wide range, even for those who have difficulty hearing, so that words can be heard clearly without increasing the volume. As a result, it is possible to deliver the voice of airport staff to customers without moving the position of the speaker, enabling smoother communication. It has received high evaluations for clear and distinct voice even with the same volume during practical verification.

- ANA provides all customers with various support services, facilities and equipment, in addition to human services. In the future, we will strive to enhance and expand our "Universal Services" so that customers who need assistance can enjoy a comfortable flight with peace of mind.
