Needs Well - Introduction of Scholarship Assistance System.

Fisco Japan ·  Jun 18 12:09

Needs Well (3992) announced on the 17th that it will introduce a scholarship subsidy system from June 2024.

In order to reduce the economic and psychological burden of young employees who repay scholarships and create an environment where they can concentrate on their work.

About half of university students use scholarships, but many feel that repaying them after graduation is difficult. The repayment period for scholarships is long, averaging 14.5 years, and affects life plans such as savings, marriage, child-rearing, and childbirth.

The company believes that by backing up the repayment of scholarships for young employees, it can reduce their economic and psychological burden and create an environment where they can concentrate on their work. Also, by targeting "new graduates who specialized in the information field" as the users of the system, it expects to strengthen its recruitment in the IT sector.

The company will subsidize the monthly repayment amount (with a maximum monthly limit of 15,000 yen) for new graduates who repay scholarships, subject to a total payment limit of 1,800,000 yen. The system is only available to new graduates who enter the company after April 2025 and have specialized in the information field while in school.
