Due to the calming of the situation in Europe, the rise in the US market, and the rebound from the sharp decline yesterday, the Tokyo market opened with a buying trend. The Nikkei Average regained its value up to the 38,500 yen level due to buybacks of futures, but the trading value on the prime market was a mere 1.6 trillion yen, and transactions were sluggish. Similar to yesterday, aggressive trading has yet to be seen even if the Nikkei Average fluctuates by about 1%.
Among the stocks included in the Nikkei Average, the stocks related to Apple, such as TDK <6762>, Murata Manufacturing <6981>, and MinebeaMitsumi <6479>, were bought, and semiconductor stocks such as Screen HD <7735> and Tokyo Electron <8035> were also strong. In addition, DOWA Holdings <5714>, Nissan Chemical <4021>, and Resona Holdings <4004> were bought.
On the other hand, the pharmaceutical sector was generally weak, including Takeda Pharmaceutical <4502>, Kyowa Kirin <4151>, Eisai <4523>, and Daiichi Sankyo <4568>. Seven & i Holdings <3382> and Ajinomoto <2802> were also sold. In addition, real estate stocks such as Mitsubishi Estate <8802> and Mitsui Fudosan <8801> were unremarkable.
In terms of industry, other products, service industry, textile products, insurance industry, precision instruments, etc. rose, while only 4 sectors, pharmaceuticals, electric and gas industry, wholesale trade, and real estate industry, declined.

On the other hand, the top contributors to the decline were Daiichi Sankyo <4568>, which lowered the Nikkei Average by about 5 yen in one stock, followed by Takeda Pharmaceutical <4502>, Itochu <8001>, Seven & i HD <3382>, Eisai <4523>, Secom <9735>, and Daikin <6367>, among others.
