4. Approach to Sustainability

Elemech Co., Ltd. <2715> is actively engaged in sustainability and is particularly focused on "TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures)".

(1) Approach to Climate Change. As a global manufacturing partner, the company group has declared its intention to contribute to the realization of a decarbonized society through the delivery of environmentally-friendly parts. In business activities, the company aims to reduce GHG emissions (Scope 1+Scope 2) by 50% from the 2021 fiscal year baseline by 2030, and to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

(2) Disclosure based on the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). The company group's Climate Change Working Group, which reports directly to the Sustainability Committee, evaluates the impact of risks and opportunities related to climate change on business activities and considers responses. Information based on the TCFD recommendations was disclosed in April 2024.
