4. Sustainability Initiatives

Elematec ＜2715＞ is also actively working on sustainability, and is particularly focusing on “climate change response (TCFD).”

(1) Views on climate change

As a global manufacturing partner, the Group has declared that it will contribute to the realization of a decarbonized society through the delivery of environmentally friendly components. In terms of business activities, we aim to reduce GHG emissions by 50% by fiscal 2030 based on the amount of GHG emissions (Scope 1+Scope 2) in fiscal 2021, and also aim to be carbon neutral in fiscal 2050.

(2) Disclosure based on the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD)

The company group assessed the impact of risks and opportunities associated with climate change on business activities and examined responses in the climate change working group directly under the Sustainability Committee, and disclosed information based on TCFD recommendations in 2024/4.
