<Overview of the Kao Art and Science Foundation>
This foundation was established in 1990 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Kao Co., Ltd. as a foundation to support arts and culture. In 1997, the business was expanded to support research in the field of science and technology, and the name was changed to the “Kao Art and Science Foundation,” which combines support for art and science and technology. It received public service certification due to the public service corporation system reform in 2010, and continues to the present.
In addition to grants and recognition projects for the arts and science and technology fields, we also carry out various projects such as support for female researchers and scholarship support.
Chairman: Yoshihiro Hasebe (Representative Director and President and Executive Officer, Kao Corporation)
