Sharp has begun accepting orders for its coin parking systems featuring lock board-less design with newly-developed in-vehicle sensors, settlement machines, and management systems.
Recently, lock board-less coin parking, which can reduce construction period and maintenance costs and enable smooth entry and exit for users, has been expanding nationwide.
This parking system, which has received orders, will install in-vehicle sensors developed in-house that can precisely detect vehicles instead of lock plates in each vehicle room. In addition to batteries that can be used for about three years *, it also has a built-in wireless communication function. As wiring work is unnecessary, it can be easily installed in the parking space. The settlement machine uses the POS system which our company developed for gas stations. It is equipped with a 12.1-inch touch panel display that is easy to view and operate outdoors and supports various payment methods.
Furthermore, multiple settlement machines installed at the parking spaces can be centrally managed by the management system on the cloud. You can visualize parking status and sales in real-time and output them as reports. It also supports remote configuration and status monitoring. It has various functions that contribute to operational efficiency in parking operation.
For this parking system, we have been working on pre-operation verification with the cooperation of various coin parking operators. This time, it has been decided to be adopted by Mitsui Fudosan Realty Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Yasushi Endo), which deploys 'Mitsui's Repark' nationwide, one of the cooperating companies.
