China Everbright Water announced that the company and Shanghai Construction General Contracting jointly established a joint venture, Guangshui Water (Anyang) Co., Ltd. with a registered capital of approximately 221 million yuan in China's Henan province Anyang City. The establishment of the new joint venture is based on the terms of the franchise agreement signed by the company, Shanghai Construction and Anyang Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau on June 6, 2024, to undertake the city's sewerage treatment plant.

The establishment of the new joint venture makes the new joint venture a non-wholly owned subsidiary of the company, with the company holding 99% of the shares and Shanghai Construction holding 1%. The main business scope of the new joint venture includes (but is not limited to) sewage treatment and its recycling, municipal facilities management, water pollution control, water environment pollution prevention and control services, solid waste treatment, technical services, and technology development.
