Japanese ADR (American Depositary Receipts) stocks rose in comparison with the Tokyo Stock Exchange (157.72 yen equivalent to 1 dollar), Advantest <6857>, Toyota Motor Corporation <7203>, Tokyo Elec <8035>, Mitsubishi UFG<8306>, Honda Motor Company <7267>, SoftBank G <9984>, HOYA <7741>, etc. rose, and became an overall buying advantage. The Chicago Nikkei 225 futures settlement value is 38,410 yen, 410 yen higher than the Osaka daytime ratio.

The US stock market rose. The Dow average closed at 38,778.10 dollars, which rose 188.94 dollars, and the Nasdaq closed at 17,857.02, which rose 168.14 points. In response to movements wary of French political turmoil and a cautious stance on interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve (Fed), it fell after being close. After that, they turned to buying in anticipation of a soft landing, and the market remained strong throughout the day. Towards the end of the game, the increase widened, and the NASDAQ hit a record high every day and ended.

The dollar and yen rose to 157 yen 96 yen in the New York foreign exchange market on the 17th, then fell to 157 yen 68 yen, and closed at 157 yen 73 yen. Since the US June NY Fed manufacturing business index recovered more than expected from May, dollar buying due to rising long-term interest rates became dominant. Dollar buying, which received a cautious stance against interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve (Fed), also seems to have strengthened. Due to the easing of political unease in France, risk-averse yen purchases have also retreated. The euro dollar rose from $1.0707 to $1.0738 and closed at $1.0735. Since Mr. Le Pen, a far-right political party seen as dominant in the French general election, cooperated with President Macron and made efforts to calm the market, the sense of caution was relaxed, and the repurchase of the euro became dominant.

NY crude oil futures remained steady for the 8-month period (NYMEX crude oil 8-month closing price: 79.72 ↑ 1.67).
