Cafe de Coral Holdings (00341.HK) CEO Leung Ho Ting said that the company's rental expenses as a percentage of revenue decreased slightly year-on-year in the last fiscal year. She mentioned that every year in Hong Kong, about one-third to one-fourth of Cafe de Coral's stores need to be renewed, and the level of rent for renewals has not experienced any increase for the time being.

She further pointed out that the rental in some parts of Hong Kong still has some competitiveness, so the overall level of rent is slower than expected. She hopes that the company can discuss mutual promotion activities with various landlords to increase traffic and business in each store.

Regarding the store opening strategy, Leung Ho Ting revealed that Cafe de Coral opened a total of 22 new stores in the Greater Bay Area in the past fiscal year, with a net increase of 18 stores. For the next fiscal year, the company aims to open at least 20 new stores in the Greater Bay Area; the company will also continue to actively monitor and deploy its store opening strategy in Hong Kong by monitoring the penetration rate of stores in each district to determine future store opening strategies.

In addition, Leung Ho Ting said that Cafe de Coral will adjust the operating hours of its restaurants flexibly according to market conditions. For example, in the past, when there were special events, Cafe de Coral fast food restaurants would extend the operating hours of individual stores according to the time, traffic, and location of the event.
