In 2023, the company's intensive flexible public charging demonstration station in the Shenzhen area participated in a total of 15 virtual power plant responses initiated by the Shenzhen Power Supply Administration Dispatch Center, and cooperated with the Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau on the virtual power plant industry chain. As the first company to enter the electric vehicle charging industry in China, Ultron is also the first company in China to carry out virtual power plant technology research.

In 2011, Ultron cooperated with the Chinese Academy of Electrical Sciences to jointly undertake the 863 project “Research on Intelligent Electricity Use Technology for Electric Vehicle Charging and Discharging Facilities”, and successfully developed the earliest V2G bidirectional intelligent charger/discharge motor (150kW) in China, which can achieve flexible and controllable power in four quadrants. In 2019, Autotron cooperated with the Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau to jointly carry out grid demand-side response research, and carried out multiple grid demand-side response tests for intensive flexible public charging stations in 2020 to help improve the flexibility and operating efficiency of the power system. In 2022, Autoxun cooperated with the Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau to jointly carry out virtual power plant technology research and actively promote the implementation of the optical storage, charging and discharging microgrid project. Currently, Ultron's nearly 80 intensive flexible public charging stations in Shenzhen can be connected to the Shenzhen Power Grid virtual power plant management platform through the “Quick Charge Network” cloud platform to accept power scheduling from the power grid.
