PICO FAR EAST (00752) announced that the company's shareholders are expected to have an unaudited surplus profit for the six months ending on April 30th, 2024, which will increase by 80-90% compared with the 101 million Hong Kong dollars obtained by the group for the six months ending on April 30th, 2023.

According to the announcement, the main reasons for the above growth are: (1) the group sold the equity of its jointly-controlled entity, which generated approximately 72 million Hong Kong dollars in income during this period; and (2) the group's income during this period increased by 15%-20% compared to the six months ending on April 30th, 2023, thanks to the group's well-deployed corporate resilience, which helped the company maintain its growth momentum in multiple markets.
