“Yamaguchi workcation” parent-child workcation monitor tour
Recruiting will begin
ANA Akindo Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Yuzo Hara; Location: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) said, “Live! It was selected as a contract operator for the “Reiwa 6 Yamaguchi-type Workcation Promotion Outsourcing” publicly solicited by the “Buchie Yamaguchi” prefectural assembly, and we are cooperating with Yamaguchi Prefecture (Governor: Muraoka Tsugumasa) to promote “Yamaguchi-type workcations” in Yamaguchi Prefecture. “Yamaguchi workcations” are not only for tourism, but also for creating and providing programs unique to Yamaguchi Prefecture, such as exchanges with local businesses and tours and training leading to self-enlightenment, together with local residents.
Now, in cooperation with various businesses within the prefecture, we have created a parent-child workcation monitor tour using Yamaguchi Kirara Hiroshi Memorial Park (*1) as a new theme, we will begin recruiting participants for child-rearing households outside the prefecture, and hold an online briefing session on the details of the project.
Please note that this tour is supervised by Mayuko Kodama (*2) of Sotoe Co., Ltd., who is an expert in parent-child workcations.
- 1) Introduction to the monitor tour
A workcation in Yamaguchi that stimulates curiosity and deepens the bond between parents and children
Schedule: 2024/7/22 (Mon) to 2024/7/24 (Wed) 2 nights 3 days
Target: Parents interested in workcations with children in the upper grades of elementary school (4th to 6th grade) outside of Yamaguchi prefecture
Application period: 2024/6/12 (Wed) to 2024/6/23 (Sun)

＜Tour Concept＞
When it comes to the upper grades, there are lessons etc. on weekends, and parents and children have less time to spend time together. Also, while it is also a time when parents want to include “learning elements” when choosing places to go out with children, I think the “Akiyoshidai Karst Plateau” is an ideal place to visit as a place that also appears in junior high school entrance exams. It is a tour that aims to deepen the bond between parents and children and become lifelong family memories by feeling the mystery of Akiyoshidai's nature and having a BBQ and observing creatures.

(*1) Yamaguchi Kirara Haku Memorial Park
Yamaguchi Kirara Haku Memorial Park is a park in Yamaguchi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, where everyone, from children to the elderly, can easily become familiar with sports, promote health, and interact while having fun through recreation, etc.
Everyone can use it as an open space where everyone can refresh their “mind” and “body”, as well as those who enjoy sports in a rich natural environment such as water and greenery.

After graduating from Keio University Faculty of Letters, he worked at a business publishing company and became independent as a freelance editor and writer in 2014.
After that, while my children were on long vacations, I went to a lifestyle where I took my work to travel. While involved in the transmission business of each local government, I felt the possibility of a three-way parent-child workcation for “the community, adults, children, etc.,” and founded Sotoe Co., Ltd.

This is a tour that both children and adults can enjoy visiting the Akiyoshidai Geopark with a guide from local residents.
This tour, where you can visit and experience the highlights of the Geopark, not only can you enjoy the scenery, but you can also enjoy learning about Geo's stories, and understand nature, starting with the earth, and the culture of the people who have used it.
Going forward, ANA Akindo will continue to disseminate the appeal of the region through workcations and work to expand the relevant population.
