SG Moving Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SG Moving"), which provides added value of "transportation +α" with a focus on transportation and relocation of large furniture and home appliances within the SG Holdings Group, has decided to participate in the proof-of-concept consortium by concluding an agreement with Revo Energy Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, Representative Director: Toshiya Nakatani) as a member together with five companies from different industries regarding the "test plant and test run demonstration of small-scale biodiesel manufacturing plant system."
On the day of the signing ceremony, Revo Energy Co., Ltd. exhibited biofuel derived from green algae that they developed, and SG Moving was announced to be responsible for the truck test drive section in addition to introducing the concepts of "a completely circulating plant system" utilizing the expertise of B-Lab Co., Ltd.※1Furthermore, it was announced that SG Moving will be responsible for the truck test drive section in addition to the exhibition of biofuels derived from green algae developed by Revo Energy Co., Ltd. at the Osaka Health Care Pavilion at Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025. The member companies of the consortium include Revo Energy Co., Ltd. (representative company), Ikeda Senshu Bank, SG Moving Co., Ltd. (SG Holdings Group), Elimo HD Co., Ltd., Sustainable Lab Co., Ltd., and B-Lab Co., Ltd. (a venture from Konan University).
It is expected that the examination in the proof-of-concept consortium will lead to the widespread adoption of biofuels and the implementation of innovative initiatives that enable companies to procure fuel within their own organization, which will not only be environmentally friendly, but also help address the problem of 2024 and provide an opportunity for the trucking industry, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises.

A system that can accommodate the process of refining biodiesel fuel in one plant. This plant is capable of an energy-efficient circulation and includes a green algae cultivation device, an apparatus to extract oil from green algae, and a device to convert these oils into fuel, which utilizes solar power as a power source.
