The latest data from the group shows encouraging growth in various types of businesses and user engagement during the event, especially for new brands and small and medium-sized businesses, reflecting Taotian's significant efforts to improve user experience and business efficiency. On the first day of the 618 Mid-Year Shopping Festival, the number of orders from 88VIP members increased by more than 50% year-on-year, the average purchase amount per person increased by more than 30% year-on-year, and the visit volume of 88VIP members to the platform also increased by more than 40% year-on-year.
Thanks to the support measures for businesses, the efficiency of merchants has been improved. On the first day of the 618 Mid-Year Shopping Festival, GMV of 370,000 Taobao small merchants' commodity trade doubled year-on-year, and the GMV of about 50 trend categories during the event exceeded 1 billion yuan.
